Knoerr, Marie Wilma St. James, Florida Formerly of Bay City Mrs. Knoerr passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at Health Park Medical Center, Ft. Meyers, Florida. Age 73 years. She was born August 31, 1939 in Bay City. Marie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Coral, FL and a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith. She retired from Ameritech and was very active in her church. She is survived by her husband of fifty five years Howard G. Knoerr, three children; Rodney H. and Beth Knoerr of Marshall, MI, Todd H. and Sherry Knoerr of Midland and Vicki M. and Scott LeVasseur of Sanford, eight grandchildren; Rodney(Danielle), Kari(Zach), Kristi (Jon), Reid (Alex), Christian, Janaye (Mike), Nick (Kayleigh) and Kaylee four great grandchildren; Calvin, Caleb, Lexi and Kaden; brother; Richard Wirsing , sister-in-law; Clara Wirsing, and many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will take place Thursday October 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke and Rev. Thomas Wirsing with private Inurnment in the Church Cemetery. At the request of Mrs. Knoerr cremation has taken place. The family will be at present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. to receive family and friends.
