Mark A. Schmidt

Mark Andrew Schmidt of Bay City, Michigan (formerly of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois) passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the age of 49 years. He was educated at St. Paul Lutheran School, Frankenlust, Valley Lutheran High School, Saginaw, Delta University and Northwood University, Midland. Mark had a successful career with Allstate Insurance in Florida and Chicago, Illinois.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jennifer; parents, Roy and Donna Schmidt; brother, Michael (Jane); niece, Taryn (Sam); nephew, Trevor; sister, Lisa; nephew, Eric LaFramboise (Tara) Deagan; sister, Sheri and Brad Cliff; nephews, Justin and Jared; sister, Kathy and Chris Allemand; nieces, Kennedy and Karson; nephew, Cooper; mother and father-in-law, Avis and Richard Hoskin and his special friend, Bob Brown.
At the request of Mr. Schmidt cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family to be used for the St. Paul Lutheran Church online ministry.
