Amy Passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at her residence. Age 59 years. The daughter of the late Walter and Jeannine (Martin) Wylie was born August 8, 1960 in Bay City, Michigan. Amy was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1979. Before her retirement in 2007 she worked for K-Mart, Pendell Printing and Quebecor Printing where she was a docutech operator. Amy had a beautiful smile, was kind hearted and had an infectious laugh, you always knew when she was in the room. Amy was very creative and enjoyed doing crafts. She was kind and always put her son before herself, Amy was thrilled when Quintin completed his associate's degree from Delta College in January. Amy was also an avid supporter of the SIDS Foundation.
Amy is survived by her son, Quintin Turvey and his girlfriend, Marissa Hugo; one brother, Marty (Mary) Wylie; four sisters, Cindy (Mark) McNally, Sandy Wylie (David Egan), Becky (Randy) Swiecicki and Penny (Grant) Gehring; longtime and committed partner of her life, Alan Madaj and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son who died on December 10, 1987, Morgan Wylie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amy's lifelong friend, Shelli Socia Anquetil.
At the request of Amy cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
