Angela Marie Templeton

Mrs. Angela Marie Templeton, of Bay City, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, age 55. She was born on March 31, 1959 in Flint. Angela was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had been a foster parent from 1984 to 1992 for Lutheran Children and Family Services, caring for numerous troubled teens. Angela enjoyed crafting, movies and spending time with her family. Angela is survived by her husband, Larry Templeton; her children, Matthew (Michelle) Templeton and Aubree Templeton; her grandchild, Jazmine Templeton; and her siblings, Robert Merritt, Pam, Sheri, and the Garcia's, Joe, Deloryes, Marilyn, Marquita, Dixie and Jay. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Robert Merritt; her mother, Virginia (Morefield) Merritt Garcia; and a brother, Roger Garcia. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Campbell with interment following at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
