Anthony J. Jasienski

Anthony passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare Rehabilitation Center. Age 82 years. The son of the late Joseph and Veronica (Muchie) Jasienski was born July 2, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. Anthony retired from General Motors and served in the U.S. Air Force. Anthony was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church where he was an usher, he was also a member of the K of C Father Nouvel Council #4232, St. Peter and Paul and Nouvel Catholic Central Athletic Association where he maintained the athletic fields and was a volunteer fireman for the Spaulding Township Fire Department. Anthony also enjoyed camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Lois Jasienski; three daughters, Debra and Guy Smith, Kelly and Joe Wehner and Deanne and Terry Krajkowski; Lois's three sons, Todd Ward, Troy and Betty Ward and Tracy and Heather Ward; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Corbin, Jordan and Holly, Andrew and Jocelyn, Mackenzie and Heather, Michael and Aggie, Adam and Kevin, Alex and Lauren, Houston, Arianna and Avarie; two brothers, Jim Jasienski and Mike McCormack; two sisters, Verna Jane Harris and Mildred Harris; four sisters-in-law, Pauline Hunt, Kathleen and Mike Zuraw, Maryann and Mike Maddiford and Linda and Terry Dishaw; brother-in-law, Merle and Marie Weaver and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, William and his sister, MaryAnn.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June, 13, 2018 at Corpus Christi Parish-St. Hedwig Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with Rite of Committal following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Jasienski will be taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
