Brett Michael Kish, 48 of Bay City passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on November 14, 1973, to Barbara (Sczepanski) and Gregory Michael Kish. Brett graduated from Bay City Western High School in 1992 and went on to graduate from Saginaw Valley State University. Brett enjoyed his career as an IT Manager for Bay Area Behavioral Health. He loved golfing, watching sports, attending sporting events, taking care of their home's immaculate lawn, hanging by the pool and rooting for the University of Michigan. He was a kind soul with a quiet sense of humor that was always ready to spend time with family and friends. His favorite activity was spending time with his beloved wife Jackie whom he married on September 14, 2019. After 46 years Brett had found someone that he was born to be with, as did Jackie. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by the true love of his life, his wife, Jacklyn (Kalinowski) Kish, stepchildren Cooper and Coleman Roberts and Brecklyn Hug. Daughters Olivia and Kara Kish. His mother, Barbara Kish and grandmothers Hazel Kish and Betty Sczepanski. Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Ken and Gloria Kalinowski. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jamie (Kalinowski) and Ed Mata. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brett also leaves behind his lifelong friend Matthew Weidner. Brett was preceded in death by his father Greg Kish, brother EJ Kish and grandfathers Frances Sczepanski and Ernest Kish.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends and family may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Nathan Weidner Foundation or the wishes of the family.
