Mr. Hodder passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Age 40 years. Chad was born February 21, 1979 in Bay City, Michigan. Chad was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Tri-City Groundbreakers, Inc. and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 324, he enjoyed working on cars, fishing, hunting, his dog Bubba and spending time with his grandbaby, PJ.
Mr. Hodder is survived by his daughter, Kameryn Hodder; wife, Amanda Hodder; son, Derek Rybkowski; grandson, Eric Lee "PJ"; mother, Sue Hodder; brother, Josh Hodder; niece, Sydney Hodder; nephew, Jack Hodder; aunt, Linda (Leonard) Ehmcke; uncle, Dan (Chris) Nutt and his best friend of 20 years, Joe Perez. Chad was preceded in death by his gram, Ruth Nutt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Abramson and the staff at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and Heartland Hospice especially, Deb for their compassion and care that they all gave to Chad.
As per Chads wishes cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
