Christine Lynn Pfund

Christine passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at McLaren Central Hospital Mt. Pleasant at the age of 67. She was born in Bay City on December, 21 1951 to the late Robert and Leona (Letourneau) Burgess. Christine was a member of St. John's Lutheran church in Clare Michigan. Christine enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, watching lifetime movies, singing while she played the piano, sewing, running the bait shop, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Christine is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Jeff Alan Pfund; daughters, Jamie Johnson and Stacy Pfund (David Peters); brother, Kim Burgess; sister, Michelle Jaynes (Roger); grandchildren, Cheyanne Pfund (Taylor Barteck), Emily Brooke Pfund, Jeff Burleson, Logan Cross, Anna Johnson, Dakota Brandon, Sophia Levi, Elosie Barteck and Leona Burgess; and many other family members.

Funeral service and Committal will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Andrew Ewald with private burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeland Michigan. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
