Chrystal passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Age 42 years. She was born March 18, 1973 in Bay City, Michigan and had resided here for many years until moving to Auburn, Indiana. She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Bay City Central High School. She continued on with her career as an office professional where she was formerly employed at Bay Regional Medical Center, with Dr. Shaheen and at Kelly Services - Dow Chemical Co. Chrystal had a great love for dogs, especially Zima, C.J. and Steamer and was a longtime supporter of the Bay County Humane Society.
On May 20, 2000 she was united in marriage to her loving husband; Joseph Floyd Light at Apple Mountain in Freeland, Michigan by the Rev. Leslie D. Tyvela. Joe is left behind to cherish her memories along with her mother and step father; Marilyn (Sherman) Lazarz, her father; Collin K. Sibley and his fiancé Carol Matuszewski and Carol's son; Troy (Jodi) Matuszewski all of Bay City, one sister; Aime Sibley of Las Vegas, one brother; Chad Sibley of Bay City, her niece; Vivian Mae Arnold, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Floyd and Betsy Light of Reese, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Tim Light of Reese, Loraine (Jim) Koski of Marquette, Dennis Light of Reese, Melanie Light of Reese, her niece and nephews; Katrina, Nathan and Jeremy Light, and many cousins and friends. Chrystal was preceded in death by a special grandmother; Viola Jean Sibley.
Funeral Services will take place Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin C. Jones with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive visitors on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Chrystal will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
