David K. Leavitt

David passed away early Friday morning, November 3, 2017 at Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Lutz Medical Center in Saginaw. Age 62. He was born March 31, 1955 in Bay City. He worked for many years at Michigan Sugar. David enjoyed going to the casino and visiting with family and friends. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his grandchild, Selina; his brother, Cliff (Judy Dominowski) Leavitt; sister, Sandra (Jim) Stein,  several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; his cousin, Val and the Love Family; his ex-wife, Diane Pockrandt and Kendra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Emily (Herek) Leavitt; his son, David K. Leavitt; his sister, Debbie Leavitt; his sister-in-law, Sandra Leavitt
Visitation for David will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. The burial and Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council will take place Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his gravesite at Floral Gardens Cemetery.
