Earl R. Reitzel

Earl passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2019 at North Ottawa Care Center and hospice in Spring Lake, Michigan, The son of the late Earl Jacob and Grace (Davis) Reitzel-Schlicker was born September 23, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan. Earl graduated from T.L. handy High School and was President of the Handy Pride Association. He was retired from the Human Resource Department at General Motors. Earl enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf, basketball and baseball. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his children, Michelle Reitzel, Malinda (Kirk) Craymer and Michael (Paula) Reitzel; his grandchildren, Taylor and Austin Craymer, Katie and Addie Reitzel; his step granchildren, Jeffrey Knowles and Mollie Knowles.his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Eve Sterner; his brothers, Bruce and James Reitzel.
Private Funeral Services will take place at Gephart Funeral Home with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
