Eleanor I. Helm

Mrs. Helm passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Nicholas and Christina (Reinhardt) Ruhnau was born September 9, 1936 in Midland, Michigan. Mrs. Helm was a member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Eleanor worked at an auto parts factory and was a custodian for Romanow Building Services.
Mrs. Helm is survived by her two sons, David (Deborah) Helm and James Helm; one daughter-in-law, Linda Helm; nine grandchildren, Tracey, John, Peggy, Lisa, Becky, Steven, Christopher, Nathan and Mike; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Esther Troxell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Helm; one son, Dale Helm; one daughter, Sherry Helm and two brothers, Frank Ruhnau and Richard Ruhnau.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert with private interment following in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. * Due to the Executive Order issued by the Governor we have to limit the gathering to 10 people or less at one time *.
