Elisabeth K. Schwarz

Schwarz, Elisabeth K. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Schwarz passed away Tuesday morning April 5, 2011 at her residence with her daughters at her side. Age 77 years. She was born April 14, 1933 in Heidelberg, Germany to the late George and Katharina( Gerbert) Kohler. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was formerly employed at Wolverine Knitting Mills as a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing,knitting for charity,taking care of her flowers and her pets. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Karin Ostrander and Cornelia "Connie" and Steve Douponce, one grandson; Peter Ostrander, one great granddaughter; Brittney Ostrander, one step daughter; Edaa Schwarz,two brothers and one sister-in-law; Ludwig and Magdalene Kohler and Gerhardt Kohler and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ludwig Schwarz,John Klemm the father of her children and one great grandson; Dylan Ostrander. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church, Humane Society of Bay County or the donor's favorite charity will be available at the funeral home.
