Elizabeth "Betty" B. Wilson

Mrs. Wilson passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at The Lodge of Durand. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Jozwiak) Gunther was born October 5, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan. Betty was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish - St. Stanislaus Kosta Church, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, having cookies and coffee while watching the Hallmark Channel, ice cream, reading magazines and cookbooks and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her four children, Mary Beth VanHoogstraten, James (Laurie) Len, Paul Len and Lisa (Ken) Krzyminski; grandchildren, Jarrod (Belinda), Landon (Carolyn), Jordan, Nicole (Glen), Austin (Rene), Jamie, Kristopher (Becka) and Brandon; eleven great grandchildren and one on the way; extended family, Kim Stevens and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley Len, George Loy and Eugene Wilson; one brother, Robert Gunther and one sister, Helen Chesney.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Erin at Heart to Heart Hospice and Jennifer and the other caregivers at The Lodge of Durand for their compassion and care.
Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish - St. Stanislaus Kosta Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary with private entombment following in St. Stanislaus Kosta Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
