Eugene C. (Pete) Biskupski

Eugene passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 91. The son of the late Charles and Louise (Budzinski) Biskupski was born February 1, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Pete worked as a machinist at Nodular Iron for many years and retired from Grey Iron Foundry. He was an amateur coin collector and a master fabricator. Pete would make any tool he needed to complete a project he was working on. Pete loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dogs. Pete proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former Ardythe M. Kesemeyer whom he married March 17, 1951, three children and their spouses, Mark and Karen Biskupski, Lori and Michael Bukowski and Jodi and John Zawacki; his grandchildren, Peter, Andrew and John Biskupski, Alex (Marena) Zawacki, Jaime (Devin) Heck, Steven (Lynsey) Zawacki , Katie (special friend,Tyler) Zawacki, Ben (special friend, Alyssa) Parsons and Sierra (special friend, Michael) Zawacki; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers, Al, Fay, Chet, Nortch and Virgil Biskupski; his granddaughter, Sarah Biskupski (Peter's wife) and his beloved dogs, Tobi and Kacy.
Private graveside funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Kevin Kerbawy and Rev. William Allwardt followed by Military honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. A public celebration of his life is being planned for a later date.
