Frances O'Toole Cherry

Cherry, Frances O'Toole Saginaw and Bay City, Michigan Fran passed away peacefully with her family at her side January 28, 2013. Waiting for her with our Lord, her husband of 61 years Stanley who predeceased her in 2002, son Brian who left us way too early at the age of 21 in 1980, son Edward who passed away as a newborn. Born July 7, 1917 Fran lived on her own and enjoyed a wonderful life. Surviving are son's, Richard from Gaylord his children, Kathy and Andrea, son, Jim and wife Fatma from Yuma AZ, their children, Sam and Leila , daughter, Ann Pohlman and husband Tom from Saginaw, their children Kris, Tom II and Matt, son, Mike and wife Julie of Bay City, their children, Jessica, Alex and Shayne. Also surviving are sixteen great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Helen Cherry and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the private Rite of Committal in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Vigil for the Deceased will take place Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Cherry will be taken to the church to lie in state on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
