Frank Escamilla

Escamilla, Frank Bay City, Michigan Mr. Frank Escamilla passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Covenant Rehabilitation Center. Age 67 years. The son of the late Jesus and Augustina (Amador) Escamilla was born June 20, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mr. Escamilla was retired from General Motors, loved collecting and restoring old Riviera's, farming and helping raise his nieces, Brittaney and Monica, and nephew, Jeremy and great nice, Nyiana. He had a big heart and loved helping people. Mr. Escamilla is survived by his brothers and sisters, Juanita Escamilla, Martha (Del) Paiz, Maria (Mahmould) Aldaoud, Jane (Bob) Miller, Augustina Arroya, Ben (Kathy) Escamilla, Victoria Garcia, Bobby (MaryAnn) Escamilla, Joe (Mary) Escamilla, Tony (Deb) Escamilla, Larry Escamilla, Gloria (Randy) Willis, Suzie (Ben) Woods and George (Jessica) Escamilla; many nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Escamilla and Jessie Escamilla; one sister, Eva Stewart; one nephew, A.J. Stewart and one great niece, Faith Monville. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 607 E. South Union St., Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak with Rite of Committal following at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mr. Escamilla will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
