Gloria M. Bublitz

Mrs. Bublitz passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Plainview Assisted Living. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Francis and Lettie (Bedell) Reimer was born February 1, 1929 in Uniondale, New York. Mrs. Bublitz was retired from the Bay Arenac Intermediate School District. She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the UTC Council 51 where she was the Grand Counselor. Mrs. Bublitz enjoyed traveling, bowling, visiting Long Island, NY, but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bublitz is survived by her son, Randall (Helen) Bublitz; three grandchildren, Maxwell Bublitz, Erica Bublitz and Ashley (Karl) Minnich; three great-grandchildren, Gabe, Cyan and Hazel Minnich; son-in-law, Terrell Baney and two nieces, Donna (Al) Pignataro and Jodi (Pascal) LeMarie. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Bublitz; daughter, Terri Lynn Baney and her brother, Frank Reimer.
The funeral and Committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Linda Williams with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Bublitz will be taken to the church to lie in state on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 10 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
