Harry D. Schwartz

Harry D. Schwartz, of Bay City, passed away Thursday January 12, 2012 at Bay Regional Medical Center, age 82. The son of the late Harry Adam & Mary (Dahlke) Schwartz, he was born May 4, 1929 in Bay City. Harry graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1947. He served with the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. Harry retired in 1984 from Michigan Bell and he has enjoyed traveling since then. Mr. Schwartz is survived by his wife, the former Nancy A. McCarthy; four children, Eric Schwartz of Flint, Donald (Julie) Schwartz of Bay City, Mary (Brian) Donnelley of Bay City and Marjorie (William) Jonas of Wisconsin; five grandchildren, James and Jill Donnelley, Megan Fehrmann and Katrina and Ryan Schwartz; two great-grandchildren, Carson Adamczyk and Graham Donnelley; his sister, Margaret Bradfield; and nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, Harry was also preceded in death by his brother, William Schwartz. It was Mr. Schwartz's wish that his remains be cremated and no services to be held.
