Mr. Laubhan passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his residence. Age 99 years. The son of the late John Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Laubhan was born February 25, 1915 in Bay City MI. Mr. Laubhan was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. He retired from Industrial Brownhoist. He was also a member of the L.F.A and Vice President of the Bangor Monitor Water District. Mr. Laubhan loved to read, working on vehicles and playing cards. Henry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters; Barbara Laubhan and Karen (Max) Hansen, his grandchildren; Lars (Yvette) Burggren, Erika (Casey) Sidles, his great grandchildren; Adrian and Isla Burggren, his nieces and nephews and his lap dog; Libby. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; his wife; Edith Erna Laubhan, his sisters and brothers; Lydia (Otto) Joitke, Fred Laubhan, Bertha Laubhan, Johanna (Carl) Bauer, Herman (Dorothy) Laubhan. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe followed by Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Private interment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Laubhan will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
