Jacob A. "Jake" Hutter

Hutter, Jacob A. "Jake" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Hutter passed away Saturday morning, September 15, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. Age 74 years. The son of the late Richard and Malinda (Leinberger) Hutter was born April 25, 1938 in Bay City. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust and also held the position as an elder and usher captain. Mr. Hutter retired from Grey iron Foundry. He was active with Boy Scouts of America Lake Huron Area Council, a trustee for camp Lu Lay Le and Saginaw Valley Zone Vice President and a member of the James Clements Airport Advisory Board of Review and served as 7th ward commissioner for the City of Bay City. Mr. Hutter served with the U.S. Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife the former Virginia L. Cone whom he married October 10, 1958. Also surviving are his children and their spouses; John and Cindy Hutter of Derby, KS, Catherine and Brian Powers of Saginaw, MI and James and Nora Hutter of Bloomfield Hills, MI, his grandchildren; Jakob, Dakota and Kaitlin, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers; Andrew and Eldor Hutter. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul D. Theiss with cremation following. Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council will follow the funeral service. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
