James A. Garza

Garza, James A. Kawkawlin, Michigan Mr. Garza passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017 at St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital. Age 57 years. The son of the late Santiago and Dorothy (Poole) Garza, was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 22, 1960. James served his country in the United States Marines Corps. Mr. Garza loved his dogs, Juanie and Daisy Mae. He also enjoyed camping, playing horseshoes, golfing and many other activities. James is survived by his fiance, Julie Diaz; one brother, Timothy Garza and his fiance Michele Stender; one sister, Debra and husband Brian Endline; ½ sister, Jenny Delorsa; one nephew, Travis Endline; three nieces, Felicia Endline, Ashley Garza and Amber Garza; step children, Heather and Todd Scott; step grandchildren, Kayla Gorski and Ciara Corbin; many other family members and friends. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Michael B. Baranek. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 O'Clock noon until the time of the service. Per James wishes, cremation will take place following the service.
