James J. "Jim " Sutton

James passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region, born to the late James and Kathleen (O'Malley) Sutton on July 5, 1947. His childhood years where divided between Bay City and Traverse City. After graduation he became employed at Bay City Chevrolet and was now working as the administrator of his wife's Medical Practice. He was especially proud of his coaching of Little League, Women's Softball and Men's Softball.
In 1982 he married Dr. Janet (LaLonde) Sutton, he has remained a dedicated loving husband and dedicated friend to many, and he is also survived by his brother, Kevin Sutton, step-mother Betty Sutton both of Traverse City and his sister Carol Raymaker of Bay City.
Cremation has taken place. A time of sharing of memories will take place Friday, May 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive family and friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of sharing.
