My Beautiful son, Joseph will never be forgotten, for his smile and kindness. He was always there for his sister and brothers for whatever they needed. His father and I adored him, because he gave us such joy. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, performed in the Silent Drill Team and performed before the Queen of England and many other places.
He played baseball, basketball and football for Western High School and won the Golden Helmet for football. He also played for Southwest Little League, Majors, Pony and Colt Leagues.
He loved his job of ten years with Millar's tire company and people he met on his travels for his job in Michigan.
He was very proud of his son Dillon Carlson; who started his own business in Washington State and gave him four beautiful grandchildren, Evan, Lane, Lillianna and Jackson (Jax); he was also survived by his mother, Marcia Carlson; four siblings, Mike Carlson, John Carlson, Tom (Nicole) Carlson and Kathryn (Joe) Day; four nephews, Andrew Day and Ryan Carlson, Brandon and Mavrick Hawke; cousin, Gloria Sparling; Aunt and Uncle, Linda and Dave Fleck and godparents, Lorraine and Bill Trudell. Joseph is preceded in death by his father L.V. (Joe) Carlson who passed away February 19, 2014.
At the request of Joseph cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life and private Inurnment will take place Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Wishes of The Family.
