Karen A. Dufresne

Karen passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in My-Michigan Health Center, Midland at the age of 57. She was born in Bay City, On September 23, 1964 to the late Kenneth Sr. and Judith Annette (Buzzard) Dufresne. Karen enjoyed playing games on her computer, shopping at Walmart and Sam's Club, Walking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Jessica Trombley; three grandchildren, Alan, Shilo and Kena; six siblings, Becky Weiler and her fiancé Robert Quinn, Cindy (Ken) Commire, Robin Wise, Janie (Harry) Bartreau, Joseph Dufresne, Richard Dufresne; and special friends, Amy and Wes Gruno and their son, Wesley and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her four brothers, Jimmy, Kenneth Jr., William, and Floyd Dufresne.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Close to Home Assisted Living for their compassion and care that they gave to Karen.
A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army. Officiating will be Ted Szilagyi.  Friends may visit with the family after the service until 4:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to wishes of the family.
