Kathleen E. Barrett

Kathleen E. Barrett passed away in the early morning on January 3, 2020 with her family by her side. She came into this world on February 9, 1968 to the late Robert "Bob" and Joan "Joanie" Barrett. She was a bouncy beautiful blue eyed red head. Kathleen was a devoted mother and cherished all of her family members. She had a strong zest for life and passion for adventures. She loved cooking for her family and had an eye for crafting. Her heart was of gold and loved unconditionally. Kathleen spread her spunk and wit to her friends and family and always kept us on our toes. She was a committed family woman who loved to make us laugh.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Blake Barrett; brother, Kevin Barrett; sisters, Karen Barrett-Girardot and Kristy (Ernie) Rahn; sister-in-law, Sandy Barrett; nieces and nephews, Ryan Rahn, Brooke (Eli) Getty, Cayla Girardot, Tiffany (Cole) Schmidt, Alexander Barrett and Elisa Barrett; many loving great nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving brother, Patrick J. Barrett.

Funeral and committal service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with private inurnment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
