Kathy Jo Kloha

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away early Friday morning November 13, 2015 at her home with her family at her side. Age 55 years. The daughter of  Adelbert "Mick" and Barbara (Kato) Abram was born February 17, 1960 in Bay City where she resided all of her life. She graduated from John Glenn High School in 1979 and continued on with her career at J.C. Penny Co. for fifteen years. Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, a trip to the casino and most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family.
In 1982 Kathy married Scott Kloha and he is left behind to cherish her memories along with one son and a daughter-in-law; Scott (Nichole) Kloha, Jr. and a daughter; Ann Kloha, her three grandchildren; Ashlyn, Addison and Hunter, her parents; Adelbert "Mick" and Barbara Abram, her three siblings; Debra (Randy) Smith, Mitchell (Tina) Abram and Rhonda (Ken) Smith, and a sister-in-law; Joanne Abram, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Ray and Carol Kloha, two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Dennis (Toni) Kloha and Brian (Angela) Kloha, and her nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her brother; Wayne Abram.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at McLaren Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Kathy during the time they cared for her.
Funeral Services will take place Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
