Larry L. Van Idour

Van Idour, Larry L. Bay City, Michigan Larry passed away Saturday, June 09, 2012 at Brian's House at the age of 60. He was born July 10, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was retired from Wolverine Human Services in Saginaw. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, going to the U.P., baseball, football and was a former member of the Bay City Police Reserves. Larry is survived by four children, DeAnna, Kasie, Katie, and Kyle Van Idour and his special friend Bekah Torres; five grandchildren, Zachary, D.J., Pedro, Cody, and Iverson; mother, Katherine Van Idour; one brother, Robert (Debbie) Van Idour; two sisters, Cheryl (Larry) Finn, Julie Morrison; several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Van Idour; one sister, Baby Kate; one brother-in-law, John "Sonny" Morrison. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik with Rite of Committal following at Floral Gardens Cemetery under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
