Leila Davis

Leila passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her residence. Age 66 years. The daughter of the late Buick Navidzadeh and Zahra Jalali,she was born October 1950 in Tehran, Iran. She enjoyed being a grandmother to her grandchildren. She attended Ann Arbor High School and went on to graduate from Bay City Central High School in 1969. Leila also attended Ruben Daniels Life Long Learning Center and her favorite teacher was Mr. Troublefielld. She was also a student of the C.A.C. In Saginaw and worked there in Food Production.After grieving the loss of her dearly beloved high school sweetheart Don Bousley of Ann Arbor to the Vietnam War she went on to marry Stephen Paul Davis on April 12, 1973 in Bay City. She worked at the former Ritchie's Restaurant and enjoyed reading and was frequent visitor at the Sage Library. Left behind to cherish her memory is one daughter, Sharon (Shari) Davis; one son, David Davis; two grandchildren, Gabriel Davis and Ali Kahn; two brothers, Ted Navidzadeh and Naasar Navidzadeh, two friends, Bernadette of Midland and Genevieve of Saginaw.In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her step-father, Lorne Adams and her friend Lyle Robertson The Visitation and Memorial Service will take place Monday, April 24, 2017 between hours of 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
