Leslie "Les" Raymond Kohn

Mr. Kohn passed away on July 21, 2020 at his residence. Age 87 years. The son of the late Heinrich and Mary (Moon) Kohn was born June 21, 1933 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Kohn served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired from the Bay City Public School System. He had a strong work ethic since he started working in the fifth grade and enjoyed his retirement as an avid hunter, fisherman and spending time with his family.
Mr. Kohn is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Loretta (Kolb) Kohn; three children, Richard (Lou Ann) Kohn, Kathryn Metro and Karen (Mike) Sauer; three grandchildren, Frank "Garrett" Metro, Jacob (Caitlin) Kohn and Jessica (Luke) Stewart; four great grandchildren, Abraham, Adelyn, Delaney and Ezekiel. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Elayne Eldridge and Dorothy; three brothers, Eldon, Louis and Kalvin.
At the request of Mr. Kohn, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Zion Lutheran Church or Beacon of Hope Pregnancy Care Center.
