Linda A. Hadd

Hadd, Linda A. (Prieur) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Hadd passed away early Friday morning September 14, 2012 at McLaren- Bay Region following a brief illness with her family at her side. Age 64 years. She was born January 27, 1948 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. Linda attended Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking and sharing her humor via the computer as pogominnie. She will be sadly missed by all the family and friends she touched with her love and care over the years. On August 21, 1965 she married Russell F. Hadd Jr. and he survives her passing along with three children; Frederick Hadd and Jeffrey and Mary Hadd and Lori and Chris Gragg, eight grandchildren; Justin, Erik, Kayla, Sydney, Ellyette, Lindsey, Danielle and the love of her life Daniel, her mother; Lorraine Prieur, her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Nancy Weeks, Cynthia and Mark Hoyt, Gerald Prieur, Michael and Loretta Prieur, and Renee and Doug Adams, Maureen and Duane Henning, Diane and Thomas Zielinski, Sue and Ron Gillis, Mike and Diane Hadd, Dennis, Terry and Timothy Hadd, her special nephew; Brian Gomez and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; Gerald Prieur, her mother-in-law and father-in-law; Eileen and Russell Hadd Sr. and one sister-in-law; Eileen Schiedler. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Stephen J. Fillion with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Linda will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. Memorial cards for the Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
