Mrs. Schram passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 64. The daughter of the late John and Elaine (Packard) Mahoney was born November 17, 1947 in Bay City. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She retired from Wienlander-Fitzhugh and Sheir as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed volunteering at McLaren Bay Region and at her church, spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events, she donated to several local charities with a special heart for the Ronald McDonald House. Enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and going to their cabin. She is survived by her husband; Richard D. Schram whom she married April 22, 1978. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law; Rick and Wannetta Schram of Bay City, one daughter and son-in-law; Melissa and Trevor David of Bay City, her grandchildren; Krissi, Hunter, Tyler, Karlie and Breanna, one brother and two sisters-in-law; Terrence and Michelle Mahoney and Christine Mahoney, her niece and nephews; Julie (Gib) Garcia, Daniel (Michelle) Mahoney and Patrick (Kim) Mahoney, her cousins; Patricia (Dale) Merrihew, Michael (Linda) Griffor, Charles (Jane) Collins and Gary (Cindy) Collins, six godchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son; Matthew Allen Schram. A Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Robert S. Gohm. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
