Mark Alfred Wellman

Wellman, Mark Alfred of Bay City, Michigan passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 54 years. He was born on August 17, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Mark was a member of Peoples Baptist Church, served with the United States Navy and enjoyed his dogs. He is survived by one son; Brandon, two daughters; Julia and Amber, his brothers and sisters-in-law; Thomas and Katherine Wellman, Bev Wellman, Raymond and Trisha Wellman, Mike and Florine Wellman, Ronald Wellman, Daniel and Katherine Wellman and Joseph Wellman, one sister; Betty Jane (Dane) Wellman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Russell Edgar and Barbara Jean (Upthegrove) Wellman and one; brother; David Wellman. A Memorial Service will take place Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Peoples Baptist Church 707 W. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel R. Hester. At the request of the family cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare, MI. The family will be present at the church on Thursday to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
