Mary Ann Bowdish

Mary Ann passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Carriage House at the age of 93 years. Mary Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 11, 1926 to the late William and Rose (Glowczynski) Mindykowski. On July 11, 1983 she married Eugene Bowdish and spent 36 years together. Mary Ann was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church and did the church laundry for many years. She retired in 1981 as a bookkeeper for the Bay County Medical Care Facility. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Eugene; children, Bill (Mary) Horen of Saginaw, Mike (Debbie) Horen of Oregon, Jim (Sandy) Horen of Bay City and Julie (Randy) Dieter of Manchester; step son, Jeff (Trari) Bowdish of Bay City; grandchildren, Bill (Mary) Horen of Florida, Ashley (Brian)MacHardy of Florida, Erin (Levi) Leslie of Oregon, Patrick Horen of Oregon, Jamie (Ernie) Pappas of New York, Eric Horen of Colorado, Kimberly (Bryan) Grzesiek of Texas and Zachary Bowdish of Detroit; great grandchildren, Bailey and Kaden MacHardy, Lorelai Leslie, Matthew Pappas and Tristan, Kaylin and Yvonne (Matt) Horen.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. George Serour with cremation following the Mass. Private inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Bowdish will be taken to the church to lie in state on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
