Mary Louise Robinson, of Sterling Heights, formerly of Bay City, passed away early Thursday evening, March 22, 2012 at Harbor Chase of Sterling Heights, age 75. The daughter of the late Archie M. & Velma L. (McCoy) Henry was born April 10, 1936 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Robinson was a very active member of St. Albans Episcopal Church, holding the office of the Sr. Warden for several years, was a member of the Cloverleaf Club and also functioned as the financial advisor of the church. She was a former member of the O.E.S. Sharon Chapter #20 and was past president of Business & Professional Womens Club. Mrs. Robinson retired as the first woman branch manager of Associates Finance Company. Mrs. Robinson is survived by one daughter, Marjorie D. (Edward) Sawicki and their children, Chelsea L. Verduin and Jeffrey A. Sawicki; her deceased daughter Pamela's children, Jessica J. (Shane) Bates, Chad J. (Nicole) Leitermann, Michael (Amanda) Neitzel, Garrett L. Neitzel and Ann (Rick) Greenhoe and 12 great grandchildren, Payton, Porter, Carter, Alexis, Chandler, Chance, Michael, Madison, Blake, Brandon, Justin and Adam; two step daughters, Linda Schriber and her children, Jim (Dawn)Schriber, and their children Travis (Emily) and Ryan. Shellie Wolfe and her children, Jenna and Morgan and Carolyn Young and her children, Wendy Young, Rocky Young and his daughter Caylee, Trudy (Brian) Olser and their children, Robbie, Dan and Kristen, and Sheri Young. In addition to her parents Mrs. Robinson was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Robinson whom passed away on May 3, 1993 after 30 years of marriage. One daughter, Pamela Jean Neitzel, one sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Karl Peterson, one brother and sister-in-law, Samuel Henry and his wife Vida (still alive) whom is surviving and her great friend Maxine Jones. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Pastor Terry Parsons. The Committal service will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the O.E.S. will meet at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. for a memorial service. Mrs. Robinson will be taken to the church to lie in state on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the Alzheimer's Foundation, St. Alban's Episcopal Church or the Diabetes Foundation will be available at the funeral home.
