Mary Madeline Schank

Mrs. Schank passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 7, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. Age 93 yeas. The daughter of the late Samuel and Delina (Ayotte) Cliff was born August 4, 1918 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Anne Society. Mrs. Schank enjoyed attending church, gardening, quilting and cooking. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and John Boka of Vassar, MI;one son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Linda Schank of Essexville, MI; three grandchildren and their spouses, Trisha and James Krawczak, Melissa and Phillip Coffman,Brenda and Mark White; six great grandchildren, Logan Krawczak, Hannah, Jonathan, Daniel, Chara and Casey Coffman and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Schank; five brothers and four sisters. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Ricky M. Varner with the committal following in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Cards for Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
