MaryJo Auer

MaryJo was called to the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother was born in Bay City, Michigan on November 4, 1949 to the late Harold and Marian (Crowl) Schwab. MaryJo enjoyed shooting, handguns at the range, painting and ceramics. She loved dogs, was a collector of “rare finds”, a mustang enthusiast and loved spending time with her family.

MaryJo is survived by her son, Clinton (Janet) Auer and granddaughter Julia; daughter, Jennifer (Jay) Tinkler and grandson Conor; two brothers, Daniel (Mitzi) Schwab and David (Sue) Schwab; cousin, Marilyn Herber. In addition to her parents, MaryJo is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Phillip Auer, sister, Denise Schwab; and cousin, Tim Herber.

At the request of MaryJo, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a donation to Bethel Lutheran Church or Bay County Humane Society.
