Mr. Michael James Nuttall, Sr., of Bay City, passed away Monday morning October 29, 2012 at University of Michigan Medical Center with his family at his side in Ann Arbor, MI. Age 69 years. Mike was born May 7, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the I.B.E.W. Local #692 where he also served as President from 1974 to 1977, the U.A.W. Local #362 and was retired from General Motors Powertrain as an electrician. He proudly served his country with the United States Marines, enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors and he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. On August 27, 1966 he married his wife of 46 years the former Sharon A. Ondovcsik and she survives his passing along with one son and daughter-in-law; Michael J. II and Jamee Nuttall of Romeo, MI, one daughter and son-in-law; Sara A. and Jason Miller of Stephen City, VA, four loving grandchildren; Jake and Lily Nuttall and Brady and Molly Miller one sister and brother-in-law; Karen and Bernard Brunner, one brother and sister-in-law; Gary and Pat Nuttall, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Mildred (DuLude) Nuttall and one sister; Marcia Houston. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the deceased will take place Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Mr. Nuttall will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
