Dale Helen Wildman

Mrs. Dale Helen Wildman, of Bay City, 75, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, Nov. 29, 2010, at Munson Hospice House of Traverse City. She was a sweetheart from birth, born prematurely and delivered at home on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1935, to Lawrence and Helen Dobson. She married Kenneth C. Wildman on Oct. 8, 1960. He predeceased her on March 9, 1979. She resided in Bay City all of her life, where she was employed by First of America Bank until she retired. She was also a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Dale was blessed with many friends and enjoyed getting together with them throughout her life to play cards, golf and go on up-north getaways. Some of her favorite times were spent with family. She will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dornbusch and her son-in-law, Ray Dornbusch, of Traverse City; the joys of her life, her three grandchildren, Brandon Dornbusch, of Cleveland, Ohio, Krista Dornbusch, of Ann Arbor, and Kara Dornbusch, of Holland, Mich. Also surviving are her brother, Jack Massoll and sister-in-law, Dorothy, of Bay City; brother, Keith Dobson and sister-in-law, Joanna, of Arkansas; sister, Ruth Gonyaw of Bay City; brother-in-law, Fred Haas, of Bay City; nephews, Donald and Dennis Dobson, Fred Massoll, Fred and David Haas, and Michael Gonyaw; nieces, Barb White, Karen Anderson, Laurel Gonyaw and Kristen Rechsteiner. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janet Haas; and brother-in-law, Mike Gonyaw. The Funeral & Committal Service and reception will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4267 Two Mile Road, Bay City. Officiating will be Rev. Carol M. Blair-Bouse. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Wildman will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 11:00am and until the time of service. The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Bays and Dr. Andrew Wagner of Saginaw; Dr. Mike Aja, Dr. John Gorman and Munson Hospice House of Traverse City for their compassion and care during Dale's illness. A special thanks is extended to Dale's sister, Ruth for all her love and care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Shriners Hospital, Christ United Methodist Church in Bay City or Munson Hospice House of Traverse City.
