Patricia passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Bay Shores Nursing Center at the age of 87 years. She was born in Bay City on October 1, 1933 to the late Adam and Josephine (Trojanowicz) Stalinski. Patricia graduated from Central High School, Bay City Junior College and Central Michigan University. On June 30, 1956 she married Donald Schultz at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Pat and Don enjoyed many happy times with their family at the cabin and traveling in their camper to many parts of the upper peninsula and all-around Michigan. Pat like to say that she worked as a substitute teacher at every school in Bay City, Bangor Township and Essexville. She enjoyed reading very much and especially enjoyed historical and English suspense novels. Pat loved to work in her flower gardens and was especially proud of her peony tree that was transplanted from her aunt Veronica's house.
Pat and Don were blessed with three children, Mary (Roger) Machin, Dean (Lisa) Schultz and Dale (Celine) Schultz; grandchildren, Shane (Sarah) Hadd, Nathan (Krystle) Hadd, Zachary (Jess) Hadd and Sarah (Bryce) Alexander; great-grandchildren, Cailin, Parker, Kellen, Addison and Arya; three step grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert; mother-in-law, Virginia Schultz; father-in-law, Paul Schultz and sister-in-law, Kay Schultz.
At the request of Pat, cremation has taken place. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish on Friday, August 20, 2021. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Kenneth Stachnik with inurnment following in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
