Patricia A. Westphal

Patricia passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late Wilfred and Anna (Woods) Cash was born January 31, 1929 in Steubenville, Ohio. Patricia served her country in the Women's Air Corp during W.W.II era. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, playing shuffleboard, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish her memories are three sons, Terry Westphal of Kalamazoo, MI, Charles (Marilyn) Westphal of Essexville, MI and William (Sharon) Westphal of Bridgeport, MI; one daughter Rhonda (Becky Smith) Westphal of Ferndale, MI; her grandchildren, Marnie, Max, Grant, Trisha, Meghan, Bill Jr. and Kyle; fifteen great grandchildren; two half-brothers, Charles and Frank Johnson; one half-sister, Candace Cash; many close friends and her pet cat, Puddy. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley G. Westphal; one son, Jeffrey Westphal; one granddaughter, Ashly Westphal; one grandson, Jordan Westphal.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 12:00 o'clock Noon at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive family and friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Camp Fish Tales, McLaren Hospice or the Early Childhood Special Education Program at Hughes Elementary.
