Anaman, Richard R. "Whitey" Bay City, Michigan Richard passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, February 4, 2011. Age 72 years. The son of the late Emil and Mary (Lang) Anaman was born July 19, 1938 in Hemlock, Michigan. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Richard retired from Chevrolet Transmission in Saginaw as a skilled trade electrician. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #467, an avid hunter, enjoyed photography and loved his motorcycle. Richard served with the U.S. Army. Richard in survived his wife, Brenda J. (Hammel) Anaman of Bay City; two children, Robert and Aaron Anaman both of Bay City; two grandsons, Donovan (Cassey) Anaman and Alex Anaman; two great grandsons, Nicklai and Ryan Anaman; sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Richard was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Robert Anaman and his brothers, Edward, Emil and Arthur Anaman. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church(706 W. Jane St. Bay City, MI 48706). Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe with interment in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hemlock. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mr. Anaman will be taken to the church to lie in state on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
