Robert Louis Lohr

Mr. Lohr passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 79 years. The son of the late Louis and Vera Lohr was born July 23, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Lohr was a member of St. Catherine Siena Parish, retired from Bay City Chevrolet and enjoyed camping, fishing and building miniature steam engines. Mr. Lohr is survived by his wife of 33 years, Alice Lohr; one daughter, Cindy (Steve) Henderson of Muskegon, Michigan; one son, Christopher Lohr of Midland; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Burley and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Lohr was also preceded in death by one brother, Russell Lohr, Sr. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish (St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church) Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge and Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN will officiate over the Funeral Rites with and Rite of Committal following at St. Patrick Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mr. Lohr will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to McLaren Hospice.
