Robert C. Schultz Jr. "Bobdog"

Bobdog passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 71. He was born on August 31, 1951 to the late Robert and Joan (Krzywosinski) Schultz in Bay City, Michigan. He was the President of the John Glenn Booster Club for 15 years, coached little league baseball and was a very active volunteer with the Bangor schools. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Bobdog loved watching "Days of Our Lives" and never missed an episode. He loved riding his Harley, golfing, hunting, camping and watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers play. He also enjoyed going to the casino and traveling with his wife, Tawny. He had the biggest heart and everyone loved him, he was very well liked. He was a very devoted father and grandfather and was the best papa to his grandkids. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Bobdog married his wife, Tawny, on November 22, 1978 and they have spent over 43 years together and have made so many life long memories.
Bobdog is survived by the love of his life, Tawny Schultz; his children and their families, Shelly (Lamont) Williams and her son, Jaden DeLorge; Brandon (Charmaine) Schultz and their children, Layni and Logan Schultz; Shandy (Tim) Botzau and their children, Charleigh, Savannah and Jolene Botzau; Cody (Brian) Strope and their children, Brody and Keller Strope; brother, Mike Schultz; sister-in-law, Deb Vaughn; brothers-in-law, Tully (Deb) Schreider and Tari (Teri) Schreider, many nieces and nephews that he loved so very much and special friends, Barb and Bill Kelley and Richard Ford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Schultz; sister, Barb Thibodeau; sister-in-law, Dawn Schultz and his mother and father-in-law, Audi and Milly Schreider.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nursing staff at McLaren 6 West and in the CCU and his niece, Kelsey for her guidance, love and support.
In honoring the wishes of Bobdog, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
