Ronald O. Hoerauf

Hoerauf, Ronald O. "Ron" Kawkawlin, Michigan Ron passed away peacefully Friday morning, April 1, 2011 at Huron Woods Nursing Home. Age 62 years. The son of the late Ottomar and Harriet (VanHyfte) Hoerauf was born December 31, 1948 in Bay City. He was formerly employed by Modern Machine and retired from Delphi Chassis Systems as a journeyman tool maker. He as a member of the U.A.W. Local #467, enjoyed gardening, woodworking, loved cooking, doing home repairs and working on his rental homes and cabin. He is survived by his wife: Mary Hoerauf, his children: Brian (Amy) Hoerauf, Rhonda (Carmen) Spagnola and Joshua (his fiancée Amanda) Hoerauf, his grandchildren: Isaiah, Elizabeth, Abigail and Rebecca, his sisters: Cheryne (William) Beiser and Shawn and (Emil) Rick, his aunt, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother: Gordon Hoerauf, his grandparents, his aunts and uncles. Funeral and committal and services will take place Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Jim Lewis with cremation following. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission will be available at the funeral home.
