Ronald George Schwab

Mr. Schwab passed away early Sunday morning January 22, 2017 at The Carriage House of Bay City. Age 75 years. He was born July 31, 1941 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Ron was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust, retired as a farmer, cherished the time he spent planting and working in his garden. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law; Alma and Robert King of Loveland, CO and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Lydia Schwab, one brother; Gerhardt Schwab and two sisters and one brother-in-law; Marlene Schwab and Doris and Edward Chamberlain. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Theodore E. Voll with private interment in the Church Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Schwab will be taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
