Shirley M. Haas Bay City, Michigan Our loving mother, grandmother great grandmother and sister passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 90 years. The daughter of the late John and Florence Biskner was born September 28, 1926 in Linwood, Michigan. Shirley was a member of Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church and the St. Anne Society. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping on QVC, gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Left to cherish her memories are five children; Linda and Ron Robishaw, Carl and Sue Haas, Gary Haas, Ronald and Kathy Haas and Nancy and Michael Meier, her grandchildren; Heather and Todd Essex, Scott Robishaw, Emily and Jon Goslow, Alex Haas, Melissa Meier, Ryan Meier and Amanda Haas, four great grandchildren; Noah, Peyton and Cooper Essex and Gracie Atkinson and the family is expecting the fifth great grandchild, one sister; Florence McCollum, brother-in-law; Fred Haas, sister-in-law; Virginia Biskner, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Carl Haas, her brothers and sister. The Haas family would like to thank Dr. Rajesh and Dr. Shyam Dandamudi for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. Haas during the time they cared for her. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with the Rite of Committal following in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Haas will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to Corpus Christi Parish.
