Rosiek, Steve C. of Bay City, Michigan passed away late Wednesday evening August 1, 2012 at The Carriage House of Bay City. Age 90 years. He was born March 3, 1922 in Omer, Michigan. Steve was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and served with the United States Army. On June 7, 1947 he married his wife of 64 years, the former Gloria B. King and she survives his passing along with two sons and daughters-in-law; Rodney and Pamela Rosiek of Shanghai, China and Randall and Susan Rosiek of Jenson Beach, Florida, four grandchildren; Kenneth and Kimberly Rosiek of Keller, TX, David Rosiek of Columbia, MO, Raina Rosiek of Atlanta, GA and Robin Rosiek of Jenson Beach, three great grandchildren; Wyatt, Emory and Clayton, six brothers and three sisters-in-in-law; Stanley and Albina, Frank and Ethelene, Richard, Pete, Fred and Irene and Louie Rosiek and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Nellie ( Brazin) Rosiek, one son; Neal Rosiek, one sister; Anna Gresczuk, three brothers; John, Edward and Joe Rosiek and one sister-in-law; Dolores Rosiek. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Edward J. Konieczaka with private interment in Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Cemetery in Standish, Michigan. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Rosiek will be taken to the Church on Saturday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass.
