Terrance F. Lopez

Mr. Terrance F. "Terry" Lopez, of Bay City, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence, age 67. The son of the late Ynez and Velma (Dietlein) Lopez, he was born on March 30, 1949 in Bay City. Terry graduated from T.L. Handy High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a welder by trade, but Terry was best known for working on mowers and tractors at his home.
On December 26, 1967 Terry married the former Lauren M. Grischke and she survives him along with their three children, Don Lopez, Bobbie Jo (Lamarr) Taylor and Brandon (Jayme) Lopez; three grandchildren, Isaac Lopez, Dexter Lopez and Emma Lopez; six brothers, Gary (Bev) Lopez, Greg (Jerilynn) Lopez, Bob Lopez, John (Grace) Lopez, Ron (Karen) Lopez and Roger (Nancy) Lopez; three sisters, Barbara Gorney, Star Troxell and Lisa; a sister-in-law, Anna Lopez; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Terry was also preceded in death by a brother, William Lopez.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bay Area Regional Dialysis in Essexville and also all of the friends Terry made there the last few years.  It has been a wonderful support group.

It was Terry's desire for cremation to take place and private inurnment will be at a later date at Elm Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
