Willie Charlene Doan

Mrs. Doan passed away Wednesday evening, November 12, 2014 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 95 years. She was born February 19, 1919 in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Doan was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She retired from Bay City Public Schools as a cook an worked mostly in the Munger Schools. Mrs. Doan enjoyed making jewelry, traveling, going to lunch with family and was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan. She is survived by her children; Phyllis (William) Beck and Edwin (Leslie) Doan, her daughter-in-law; Linda Doan, nine grandchildren; Theresa, Tina and Kristi Beck, Cheryl Jacobs, Brian Doan, Lisa Franum, Rachel Funk, Jenifer Wiggins and Diane Morse, twelve great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Rachel (Burton) Clark, her husband; Clayton Doan, her son; Jerry Doan, seven brothers and sisters.
